Message Hi everyone,
Hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season! Well, after a year-and-a-half of searching for my first car, I finally found it: a 1990 300ZX N/A 2-seater. When I first started looking for a car, I found a picture of the Z31 and fell in love. Initially, I liked that style of Z best. As time went on, I discovered the Z32 and KNEW that was the car for me. I test drove a few, and even looked at Firebirds, Camaros, and Mustangs, but the Z was by far the best. I thought I would have to go another winter without having a car to even store, until I came upon this one on Craigslist about and hour from my home. I contacted the owner, who gave me, in my opinion, a very good price. The car looked decent and had some mods, so we went to look at it. He had a Twin Turbo sitting in the garage and needed to get rid of his N/A. The car drove nice, looked great, and best of all, my mom approved! We made an offer and the guy accepted. Finally, my own Z!

Now some more about the car. The guy we bought it from a guy who bought it from Texas. There are some receipts that show quite a bit of work done to the car. It had the tranny rebuilt (it's an automatic; unfortunate I know), a custom interior, Stillen body kit, front and rear strut braces, 350Z wheels, aftermarket shifter, and Injen hard pipes and POP charger intake. The fuel injectors and O2 sensors have also been replaced. The car used to be cream white, but was repainted to a snow white. Whoever painted it did a really nice job on the paint itself, but for some odd reason they decided against taping off the trim, so there is a little overspray...nothing that can't be fixed. The car also came with some extra parts like two door skins from a later year, pods that go next to the steering wheel, fuel injector rail with fuel injectors, door seals, and a front right quarter panel. The quarter panel now has a little crack in it, but I can live with that. There is a small trace of red paint in the right doorframe, so perhaps the car was in a minor fender bender at one point. It drives and handles great, and there is no evidence of damage inside of the engine compartment, so it obviously was a minor accident, if any. I got to drive it around for a week before snow set in here, so now it's slumbering in my grandma's garage. I'm pumped to be part of this group of great guys; I've looked through much of your site and have already learned so much. I'm sure I'll be asking more down the road. Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and my car (sorry if I got a little wordy). Have a Merry CHRISTmas and happy Z-ing!
